■Sankonol® ―― Durable ESD control for polyurethane

Chemical structure and characteristics of Sankonol®

  • Newly developed lithium ion (Li+) is coordinated in the polyol.
  • The lithium salt is dissolved completely in polyol.
    The polyol solution is mixed with the isocyanate,and allowing the polyol
    to polycondensation reaction with isocyanate.
    Original polymerization rate and catalytic activity will be maintained.



2.Examples of the polyol practical used

(1)Polyether polyols  :  Polypropylene glycol (PPG:diol,triol)
                  Polytetramethylene glycol(PTMG)
(2)Polyester polyols  :  Adipate polyol
                  Caprolactam polyol
(3)othe  :          Acryl polyol
                  Polybutadiene polyol
                  1,4-Butanediol
                  Monoethylene glycol
                  Silicone polyol

3.Lithium salt conc. & ESD control are controlled by Sankonol® added.

  • Lithium salt conc. in Sankonol® : 10 〜 50 wt%
  • Lithium salt conc. in Polyurethane:
    Preparing solution by dissolving Sankonol® with polyol : 0.1 〜 0.6 wt%
